Social Housing:

Social housing is our strongest sector in terms of market demand and our sector experience. Saritor has participated in every social housing project tendered in Poland since the introduction of new PPP legislation in 2009.

In order to meet the considerable demand for an affordable social housing solution, Saritor has produced a series of bespoke apartment block designs tailored for this unique market. These designs incorporate Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) to ensure quality and to drive down costs. Also, simplicity, functionality, robustness and reduced maintenance costs were key considerations during the design process. In all cases, Polish and EU building regulations have been met or exceeded.

Our designs are tailored to meet the customer’s needs in every way. However, if required, we are able to build to a customer’s specific design criteria should they decide not to use a Saritor- design. In this situation, we will work closely with the Public partner to realise their project and to deliver cost savings where possible – ultimately leading to a minimised total project cost and maximised ‘project value’.

Healthcare

The PPP healthcare market in Poland is a newly emerging sector but a vital one. Significant new healthcare infrastructure is needed across the country including general hospitals, specialist medical facilities and community medical centres.

Drawing on our UK based PPP experience and partnering with highly qualified healthcare design and construction organisations, Saritor provides PPP healthcare projects with a keen focus on:

• Innovative, low-cost, functionality;
• Quality;
• Plus important principles unique to the efficient operation of healthcare projects;

In partnering with specialist healthcare service providers, Saritor can provide a long-term ‘operate’ service. However, our significant UK-based experience offers an interesting insight into this service element – see the attached PDFs within this section.

Some Polish healthcare customers have expressed the opinion that to attract ‘the best’ healthcare construction partners, an ‘operate service’ must be included in their tender process.

Saritor is able to and, if requested, will provide such a service. Equally however, Saritor can provide a finance, design and construction function alone (i.e. without the inclusion of a long-term ‘operate’ element).

Public Administrative Buildings (Municipal Buildings)

This is an interesting sector, the importance of which is sometimes under-estimated. The lack of modern public administrative infrastructure has a negative impact on the functioning of our public sector, the development of the state and also, the evaluation by citizens of its performance.

Saritor is currently engaged on municipal projects as wide-ranging as new City Hall developments, central government administrative buildings and innovative projects such as ‘investor management’ facilities.

This sector requires specialist knowledge and innovative design skills. Saritor’s ‘design philosophy’ focuses on the delivery of building functionality and the enhancement of the public sector’s ability to support, interface and communicate with the citizens it serves.

Saritor understands the vital link between good education facilities and high quality education. Therefore, Saritor partners with innovative education design firms and high-quality construction organisations to deliver this.
