"Partnership for Wroclaw" conference

On February 7, 2012, we had the pleasure to participate and co-sponsor a conference on "Partnership for Wroclaw - experience, plans and prospects for cooperation. British Polish PPP Forum."

The conference was organized in the Congress Center Hall in Wroclaw, has been completed by the Ministry of Regional Development and the Chamber of Commerce with the participation of Polish Bank PKO BP and KGHM Polish Copper SA.

The most widely discussed aspects of this meeting were the British and Polish experiences with PPP and in what way the British PPP practice, can help public and private operators become successful on the Polish market. Most importantly, the issues of challenges and expectations facing interested in cooperation within the framework of the PPP were raised during the conference. Director of development at our company - Mr. Błażej Buraczewski , presented a multimedia presentation which showed the importance of understanding and dialogue between the public and private entity in the context of the completion of a PPP project, shown from the perspective of Saritor the PPP practitioner and market leader . The presentation aroused great interest among the conference participants. Participation in the conference of so many companies involved in the construction industry, banking, advisory illustrates how rapidly the PPP market is growing. It just confirms our belief that the Public Private Partnership as a model for development of infrastructure projects is becoming more and more popular and gains trust by both the local government units and private partners and also banks. We can confidently say that the Lower Silesian region gave the green light for public-private partnership!

"Poland & CEE Municipal Projects" conference

On October 17-19, was held in Warsaw conference "Poland & CEE Municipal Projects". Saritor had the pleasure to be the main sponsor of this important event for the PPP market. The scope of topics covered during the presentations and panel sessions covered a broad spectrum of topics related to the PPP market in Poland, and included, among other things:
- Funding for local projects
- Bankability of projects
- Social infrastructure projects
- Projects in the health sector
- Infrastructure Projects
- Waste management
- Investment in transport infrastructure
During the session on "social infrastructure projects," Mr. Saritor CEO Philip Andrews gave a speech about the problems the PPP market in Poland and the prospects for the development and promotion of social investment sector. Our view from the perspective of the practice has had a big impression on the participants of the conference and was received with great applause, and was the subject of a panel discussion as well as many interviews backstage. Conference in Warsaw was the first of its kind event, bringing together in one place, both representatives of the private companies involved in the development of the PPP market in Poland (banks, construction companies, consulting firms), government representatives at ministerial level, representations of cities, regions and districts. The conference and the content of speeches each participant gives hope for the rapid development of PPP in Poland and positively inspire efforts to increase both private partners and public in accelerating the delivery of the PPP. International business seminar in Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Philip Andrews, Saritor’s CEO, was invited to be a keynote speaker at an international business seminar in Omaha, Nebraska. The UEBC (US – Eurasian Business Conference) aims to promote stronger business and investment connections between the USA and Eurasian region. Addressing many senior governmental, diplomatic and business leaders, Philip was asked to speak about issues within Europe’s PPP market and particularly to comment on the progress and potential of PPP within Poland.

PPP conference in London

Sept. 12 at the headquarters of international law firm Eversheds in London hosted a conference, whose aim was to present PPP projects by the largest urban centers in Poland. The conference was attended by representatives of Warsaw, Krakow, Katowice, Poznan, Gdansk. One of the speakers was Mr. Philip Andrews Saritor Group CEO - in his speech touched on the most important problems concerning the PPP market in Poland and mission of Saritor in PPP market.

PPP platform

September 4 was the first meeting of the Working Group "PPP platform" - the structure established by the Ministry of Regional Development in order to accelerate the implementation of PPP projects. Saritor as the only company in the private sector was invited to participate and advise on "PPP platform." At its first meeting touched on the important question of the impact of "operator model" for costs of PPP projects in relation to the experience of the British market.

Expansion of the hospital in Łańcut

We are proud to announce that our company has been invited for negotiations in the hospital expansion project in Łańcut. The project will be implemented under the PPP. Expansion project has been subject to the tutelage of MRD as one of the most important projects in the country.
